Alida Castillo
Team Manager

Alida began her involvement with the Jets as a mom of an athlete. Her daughter, Spikey, aged out of Jets competition several years ago, yet she stays on. Alida saw what a positive effect the Jets and track had on her daughter, so she wants to continue supporting and helping Coach Curtis and the Jets.

Alida ran track in her youth and knows the powerful lessons learned from this sport:
1. The amount of effort and work you put in has a direct effect on the outcome.
2. Since most of track is an individual sport, you must take full responsibility for the results. There is no one else to blame, no refs, judges or other teammates that don’t throw you the ball. It’s just your effort, preparation and focus that determines your performance.
