Joining the Jets
So what's involved?
We strive to take any athlete to the highest level of competition they want. Whether that is, practices, meets, nationals, or worlds. The Jets have sent over five participants in the past several years to Division 1 colleges, with scholarship offers. We are committed to training our athletes for success on and off the track.
On average there are 4-8 track meets per season, (typically on weekend days). Most meets are local. But we do travel in the New England area including: Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Athletes who qualify for nationals may have to travel even further. Past national competitions have been in Virginia Beach, New Orleans, Chicago, and Detroit.

Practices are in the evenings 6:30-7:30 pm either two or three days per week depending on the season and facility availability.
The Cambridge Jets are committed to your children and the sport and have established themselves as leaders in the New England Youth Track community. The Jets have taken on the responsibility of hosting some of the major track meets in the region. Parent involvement is needed during these events. About the Coaches

Younger children, who can not run on their toes with sprint spikes or handle the stiff long distance spikes, can hurt their feet if they run with inappropriate spikes.
